Sex, Gender, Insecurities.

In this world, human are made into either male or female. There's no way in the planet to escape from that solid reality, oh, except if you are hermaphrodite or planning for a genital removal or something.

In this world too, people often categorize themselves into certain qualities which suffice oneself to be either male or masculine. It's human, people! We love to put things into groups. We love to categorize, stick labels or notions towards each other.

But we should how above all that 'male' and 'masculinity', or 'female' and 'femininity' are different but relative concept. Being male or female is something permanent, inborn trait that cannot be changed. Damn the technology. But masculinity and femininity are characters that describe a male or female.

So, in order to appear as so 'male' plus 'masculine', boys are told from infancy to not doing girlish things like playing with a doll or help mom cooking or doing the homework or not smoking. The real guy should reflect what a real guy is made of : solid biceps, sometimes abs, or seen in a gym 24/7 or seen smoking a packet a day, or playing soccer every fucking evening or dating 5 girls at the same time.

If a 'male' is not seen doing the guy things or found doing a good job at some girls things like cooking or cleaning; or caught watching Gossip Girl, he will be immediately labeled as a faggot.

That's why there's a lot of guys out there are insecure. Despite the macho or dangerous look in the eye we can't tell how would a guy feels from inside. If he wants to cry or scream in pain he cannot do that, what would people think?? If he feels like eating strawberry flavoured ice-cream he cannot do that, that's SO GAY-people must think of that.

The same goes to girls. If a girl is caught doing some guys stuffs like dribbling balls around the yard or watching a soccer game plus screaming the throat out at her favourite team, she must be LESBIAN. That's how people think.

Moving to career perspective, a teacher is a feminine job. Only girls should be teachers. Oh, boy! If you are a real boy you wouldn't do teaching.  Why didn't you enroll engineering school? That's better hell a lot than becoming a teacher.

Isn't this just sad?? I don't know. Maybe this gender system should be abolished. Ahaks.
