1) A 5-year-old child was obediently helping his brothers operating the business with his little hands and legs. He was agile moving about, passing the dirty dishes from tables to kitchen.
2) A customer was scolding a waiter. A teenage waiter, for he had forgotten the spices and tissues on the table. I bet that waiter is the brother of that little boy, since this is a family business. And I think he's a dropout.
3) And more customers were filling the empty tables, and the heat was rousing since the kitchen was overloading with orders. And orders kept coming and increasing.
Suddenly, praannnggg!!!
The absent-minded waiter stumbled. All the cutleries were scattered on the floor. Yet no one was eager to lay a helping hand. Not a person.
My mind was thinking,
1) A little boy on a line of work? What the heck.. My emotion filled me quickly. I was helpless. Upset. He was a child who's supposed to be on the field playing kite or cuddling with his series of Ben-10 cards. But this child was extraordinary for carrying this load of responsibility. I was awed.
2) This customer must have a heart of stone. Or heartless. I believe from his clothing and appearance he must be a privileged person, but I pitied him for not having one most precious gift on earth, a thankful heart. If he is grateful, he should be able to perceive the waiter's position, who's damn busy taking orders and sending food, but being lousy and pathetic as he is, he thought of a royal treatment from that waiter, who couldn't give a fuck on his damned mind.
Conclusion : With combination of passionate personnels, this restaurant will glorify, and with more understanding customers, it will retain the good reputation. For us, customers, I think we should plant more thought and consideration in our bleak heart. As easy as it seems, being a waiter, I couldn't bear thinking in that waiter's shoes. I had been once, and I had enough. If we loathe being scolded, so do others. Think about it. This life is not only about you. If customers are always right, so don't eat here because we are always wrong. Don't show up, ever.
Cheers.
