Solidarity

I've just finished watching the speech by PM Najib from the UMNO annual assembly.

Only one word remained from that- solidarity.

Other words that rings equally loud- freedom, slander, education, youth, priorities, chances, upskilling and rights.

Well I try to close my ears about the other issues, essentially attacking the opposition party of their scandalous reputations. I can't say the PM isn't right, he clearly outlined the faults in the other's management and how desires outmatch common sense.

Not that I'm siding with PM, but there are many truths spoken. Apart from the fact that the attacks completely derailed from his notion of solidarity, his ideals were adequately emphasized.

Now I'm hoping that he keeps his words. Being a politician, nothing is set in stone. His priorities could change in a blink. But it felt good to hear his concern about youth unemployment, the freedom of speech and literacy. Those should be the firsts in his mission list. The young people shape the country, we are the future, we are the ones to focus on. Our destiny is the country's future.

As a person who has been privileged with opportunities by MARA, I am well aware that my life has been in debt of the government. I am one of the many who enjoy the privilege of being born as a Malay, raised in MRSM and given chance to study overseas. It is just by time that I repay their good deeds and serve the people in need of my service.

And of course PM, solidarity is the golden key towards realizing our dream as a first-world country. I will patiently wait for that day to come.
