Let's Talk About God, Religion, and Devotion.
I'm trying to invent a way for us to love God. Love Allah, the Great One, like the way He loves us. Though I know too well that our way of showing love is a debris of the amount of Love that He showers on us, in every second ticking on earth.
When I attend the musalla preachings, all that I hear is the horrendous Wrath of Allah due to our misdemeanour. Our cardinal sins. I felt terrified and chewed when I hear the tales of imperceivable Hereafter, the Judgement Day. The punishments, the Hell, the Fire, they all are horrific elements of the Day.
But I want to share with you that Allah's Love is beyond His Wrath.
We just have to earn His Forgiveness, because He is the Forgiving One. And we should know that His Bless is flowing endlessly in our lives, though how much we commit crime to Him.
And I believe that, if we can Love Him, I'm more than sure that He will be listening to our thoughts. Well, He is listening all the time, but maybe this way, He will be more attentive.
What about, try to resemble Him as your LOVE ONE.
It should always be that He is the first priority, but we as insaan are forgetful beings. And if we make Him as our Love, maybe our Devotion won't be too painful. Because when we are in love, we only take the good things, and hear the advice, because we are in love.
For praying, let say that you have a date with Him. If you are late, even in real life, your partners will sulk and turn their backs right?? So, in this case, to avoid your 'Partner' from sulking, or being angry, we must be punctual.
And while 'dating', it is important to mean whatever you say. And be attentive to your words, because He is listening. And even in real dating, if you talk mindlessly, and behave nonchalantly, I believe that your partner will leave you talking alone. And in praying case, mean what we chant. And it is very important to understand what we are chanting.
I think it'll work. Love Him and He will Love you even more!
